Situated in the Minervois, a seductive region in the west of France’s Languedoc, tucked in between the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Black Mountains and the Canal du Midi, the family-owned Château St Jacques d’Albas benefits from a wealth of natural advantages to produce impressive wines.

Over 60 hectares of forest and garrigue, teaming with wildlife, and an 11th century chapel, protect the 26 hectares of organic vines. Their philosophy from the beginning has been to limit yields and take an organic approach to managing the soil and the vines.

60% Syrah, 30% Grenache Noir & 10% Cinsault

A classic blend of Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault, vinified in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and purity of fruit. Medium bodied, with notes of crushed strawberries, fresh cherry, sweet spices and a signature long finish.

2024 Le Petit Saint Jacques Rosé AOP Minervois

35% Grenache Noir, 33% Cinsault & 32% Mourvédre

A round round, buttery nose, accompanied by redcurrants and stone fruits (white peaches, apricots).  The attack is crystalline, the acidity all in finesse is revealed thanks to citrus notes, ensuring a persistent and fresh finish.
